With our photoshoot we wanted to stay true to our brand so where better to hold it than at Margate beach. We enlisted the help of our local friends for models and the talented photographer; Michelle Marshall to create images that are true to our brand and created with kindness.
Michelle is a French photographer based in London where she has been working within the fashion industry as for the past 10 years.
Her work focuses on portraiture with assignments ranging from commercial contracts to fashion editorials, backstage photography to private commissions. Her style of photography favours the candid over the contrived and her work has been personally selected and critiqued by Nick Knight which he has described as modern and courageous with a beautiful sensitivity to light.
Her work evokes conversations and questions about themes of human connection, perception and identity either as a reflective exercise or a commentary on topical socio-political debates. She is interested in the exploration of societal stereotypes, cultural precepts and how those inform our perception of ourselves and the Other.
